Provides recommendations to the Board of Directors on the scientific orientations of the programming

Ensure that the bilateral agreement between Ouranos and the member is respected
Approve the use of funds (where applicable)
Composed of representatives of the members (Director) and representatives from Ouranos
Adaptation priority committees2
Collaborate in the development of the scientific programming and oversee it
Assess the suitability of proposed projects
Contribute to knowledge-sharing
Composed of experts from different sectors, fields and disciplines, including representatives of the parties involved in programming, drawn from the Ouranos network, as well as other experts invited on an ad hoc basis depending on the topics discussed, including university researchers
Climate science expert working group
Contributes to the development of the orientations and priorities of the scientific programming
Assesses the suitability of R&D projects
Promotes the use of best practices in simulations and climate services within the network
Provides expert advice
Composed of experts from various fields of climate science and climate services, including regional modelling and data platforms, as well as other experts invited on an ad hoc basis depending on the topics to be addressed in the development of the programming
Project advisory committees
Guide project teams in their choices of strategy, methodology, etc.
Ensure that projects achieve objectives
Contribute to knowledge-sharing
Composed of representatives of the sectors, fields and disciplines concerned by the subject discussed (professionals, experts), as well as expert researchers
