Jean Paquin is a senior civil engineer for the Technical Services of Rio Tinto Aluminum. He has been involved in operational water management since 2001 for RTA assets in Québec and in British Columbia. He is now the Principal Advisor for in the Hydrology team. He is mostly involved in inflow forecast, energy planning and long and short-term optimization. Jean also contributes to various R&D projects, especially in the commissioning of new models. He obtained a master degree in applied sciences from Université de Shebrooke in 2000.
