Dominic Matte holds a PhD in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQÀM). He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Niels Bohr Institute of the University of Copenhagen, as well as at the Danish Institute of Meteorology from 2018 to 2021.

During his stay in Denmark, he participated in the European Climate Prediction System project where, in addition to having actively participated in the integration of users within the project, he conducted various research that focused on extreme events, high-resolution regional simulation and predictability.

With Ouranos since 2021, he works in the Climate simulations and analyzes team.
