Summary of the activity

This training activity defines climate change adaptation and its objective, and explains the benefits of a structured, iterative approach to adaptation. Then, the steps of the adaptation process are discussed:

  • Setting up the project team  

  • Establishing the objectives, scope and context of the process 

  • Assessing climate risks 

  • Managing climate risks 

  • Production, monitoring and review

Marie-Emmanuelle Bossé
Ouranos

Marie-Emmanuelle holds a bachelor's degree in applied communications and a master's degree in environmental management with a specialization in international climate policy and negotiations. In the course of her career, she has had the opportunity to work for several years in project management, both here and abroad, in various sectors of activity.

At Ouranos since 2023, she actively contributes to the valorization and knowledge transfer resulting from integrated scientific programming in adaptation to climate change in order to ensure this knowledge is accessible to various types of adaptation actors. She holds the position of Research and Knowledge Mobilization Specialist.
