Angelica Alberti-Dufort holds a professional Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnique de Montréal, with a specialization in urban resilience and environmental responsibility, as well as a Bachelor's degree in physical geography from the University of Montreal. She moved into the world of science communication by working as a researcher and science writer for the web media specializing in climate change unpointcinq.ca.

In 2018, she joined Ouranos as a research assistant and writer. She joined the Knowledge Transfer and Training team in 2020 where she participated in many large-scale projects. She is also a member of the Association of Science Communicators of Quebec.
