Climate change threatens the integrity of ecosystems by jeopardizing the continuity and durability of the services they provide. Impacts vary from region to region: Northern Quebec, which is warming more rapidly than in the South, will experience significant changes in its biodiversity. In southern Quebec, climate change adds to the list of pressures from human activities that have already been having an impact on ecosystems for the past several decades.
