Winds and storms
Despite significant improvements over the years, current climate models still underestimate the speed of strong winds and the intensity of the various types of storms affecting Quebec.
In this context, no reliable trend can be put forward for projected changes in winds, low pressure systems and storms and tornadoes in Quebec. The results are often contradictory or statistically insignificant. Their confidence level is therefore very limited.
For now, studies only agree that various types of storms will generate more precipitation in the province. Recent results, however, do not show that these storms will be windier.
