International Network of Boundary Organizations on Adaptation
Who are our members?
Member organizations focus on making sustained connections between climate change science and decision-makers who are designing and leading adaptation efforts. We call this linking function boundary work.
In terms of scale, network members meet decision-making needs across scales, serving multiple communities or regions. Several work at the national or regional level, but their reach can be continental or even international.
Members have a sustained institutional focus on climate change and connecting climate science to adaptation action. Some are independent organizations, while others are units within institutions that focus on a wider spectrum of research, policymaking or capacity building.
Would you like to join?
The network also welcomes organizations that are in the process of expanding or institutionalizing their focus on boundary work in adaptation.
There are two categories of members:
-
Those currently spending at least half their time on adaptation boundary work
-
Those aiming to increase their role as adaptation boundary organizations
See more detail in "How to apply".
